Dawn talks about how Dr Logan helped her live headache free and gave her a beautiful smile at the same time!
I went to a wedding with a lot of my husband’s coworkers and this neurotic man (he’s extremely meticulous, he doesn’t have much hair on his body, and he’s a perfectionist) started freaking out about my mouth, it was almost embarrassing. He was like, “oh my gosh! Look at your smile! It’s perfect! It’s perfect!” It happens all the time. Strangers will come up to be and be like, “you have the most beautiful smile. You have the most beautiful teeth.”
What made you decide to do this for yourself?
I had migraines… muscular migraines in the back of my head for as long as I can remember… to the point where it was debilitating. I was constantly in agony. And it turned out it was my jaw, because it was so messed up and off. But I kept thinking it was something else… my sinuses… it’ll go away. I just put it off, forever, getting the dental work done. Dr. Logan said it was my teeth and my bite was so off. But eventually when I would eat, the teeth were cracking… the back molars were cracking. I had the one back molar crowned twice, and it was just an endless battle. I knew the money I was putting into my mouth wasn’t going to last because the bite was so messed up. And it just got to the point where I needed to do something drastic.
How did you feel while the work was being done?
Oh, it was much easier than expected. I love the nitris, I’m not going to lie! And I just… I didn’t feel a thing. It was quick… banged out what needed to get done and I didn’t walk around without teeth—ever! They always looked presentable. No one noticed anything. Just when I looked better, they didn’t know why. They just thought something was different. It wasn’t that extreme. I mean, it was that extreme but they didn’t, you know, it wasn’t totally obvious. It was more of a natural look, so I was happy with that.
How are your symptoms now?
I don’t even have them anymore. My… I don’t have the neck pain… like, the muscular migraines or the muscle aches anymore. And um, I can feel it just talking, the difference in my bite. It’s not an issue anymore. I don’t even notice it. It’s the way it was supposed to be.
